No one can forget the late night throw down between Conan O’Brien and Jay Leno, for the late night spot at NBC. Over and done with right?
Nope. Well on 60 minutes last Sunday the new TBS star host Conan talked to Steve and of course they talked about the well known show down. Conan said “He went and took that show back and I think in a similar situation, if roles had been reversed, I know – I know me, I wouldn’t have done that.” He even goes on to say if he had been in Leno’s shoes, he would have “done something else, gone someplace else.”
Conan seems to be the bigger man, but this could be all talk. Come on if roles were turned around and it was Conan being offered a 7 figure deal to do a show do you honestly think he would turn it down?
