The Russian girlfriend of actor Mel Gibson has came out and said that their recent breakup was one that unexpected and happened suddenly. Oksana Grigorievia, speaking at a press confrence in Moscow, said that she was willing to give the official reason for the breakup but said to wait and in the next couple of days the real story will come across the world.
‘It was unexpected and suddenly. We split mutually and plan on raising our daughter together. Our daughter is currently with my mother in her Los Angeles home’ stated Grigorevia. This is the eighth child for Gibson who at 54 has seen some what of a torrid ride over the last couple years after run ins with the law and a stint in rehab. Grigorevia didn’t say if drinking or drugs had anything to do with it but one source is saying that the split is due to Mel wanting to be alone and not being with his wife during his free time.
Grigorevia on the other hand has enjoyed a music career which she is quick to mention that Gibson helped launch off of the ground. ‘He directed some of my clips and also contributed lyrics to some of my songs’ stated Grigorevia.
